Meaning Brick, in Italian, the Mattone is SILCA's award winning seat bag powered by the Boa Closure System.

With the new Mattone Grande, we have now created a 'bigger brick' with .74L of internal volume almosn 2x the volume of the original Mattone (0.41L). The Mattone Grande is capable of holding up to 3 road tubes along with 2 CO2 cartridges, 2 tire levers and a multi-tool.  It can also easily hold up to two 29x2.5 MTB tubes along with CO2, levers and Multi-tool, the Mattone Grande is ideal for those long adventure rides or races where you must be prepared for everything.  

Similar to the original Mattone, a high friction Hypalon strap with BOA¬Æ Closure completes the package.¬† Making more than 15x the power of Velcro¬Æ, the BOA¬Æ Closure uses a ratcheting mechanism that will not creep or loosen even under the most extreme vibration and impact.¬† This ensures the Mattone will remain 'Äòhigh and tight'Äô under your saddle until you need to access it... no swinging, swaying, or rattling... ever!
