Developed at the request of pro mechanics from VISMA Lease-a-Bike, SILCA Hold Fast Carbon Paste addresses a real frustration: most carbon grip pastes use a grease base that is slick, stains everything it touches, and provides mediocre grip at low torque values. Hold Fast replaces the grease base with a high-tack silicone carrier that stays put, wipes clean, and is dye-free — so it won't stain fingers, clothing, or paint.

The formula contains three to four times more silicate friction additive than typical carbon pastes, allowing for lower clamping torque while effectively eliminating slippage or fatigue on carbon, titanium, aluminum, and painted surfaces. The result is a safer installation with less risk of overtorquing exotic fasteners and components. Easily cleans up with SILCA Gear Wipes.
