The Berd HAWK30 GOLD Carbon Wheels are a purpose built XC race wheelset, claimed to be the lightest and fastest 30mm cross country wheels on the planet. With a 30 mm internal width and a 22 mm rim profile, the HAWK30 GOLD is designed to keep modern XC tires supported and cornering confidently, while staying absolutely ridiculous on the scale. Berd claims nearly 250 grams shaved from their previous XC wheelset and a headline 1,022 gram wheelset weight, which is a fancy way of saying these things want to sprint the moment the trail turns to dirt.

At the center is the Berd Talon ESL hub, developed with Erase Components in Belgium, featuring a titanium freehub driver and 70 points of engagement, all while weighing 333 grams for the set. "ESL" stands for Equal Spoke Length, meaning the same spoke length is used throughout, which makes life easier for both wheel nerds and anyone who has ever tried to label spare spokes at midnight. The whole package is tied together with Berd's PolyLight spokes for a smoother, vibration damping ride feel, and it comes tubeless ready with Boost spacing, 24 spokes front and rear, and Centerlock compatibility, plus lifetime warranty and free crash replacement on the HAWK30 GOLD rims for extra peace of mind when race brain takes over.
