Basso began in 1974 in a family garage, where Alcide Basso, mechanic to his world champion brother Marino, built his first frames. Nearly five decades later, the company is still family-run, and its bikes are still made in Italy, at its own facility near Bassano del Grappa. Basso doesn’t build for a WorldTour team. Every bike is developed around real riders, delivering race-level performance with the comfort and adaptability everyday cyclists need.
